The Menu
At Stari Mlini, our menu reflects the essence of Kotor Bay, emphasizing the concept of sea-to-table and farm-to-table. We source the finest seasonal produce from local growers and feature daily catches to provide a truly authentic culinary experience.
Daily Bread
In addition to our menu, we take pride in baking fresh bread daily. We offer excellent package options, but we are also happy to customize based on your preferences and needs.
Wedding Cake
For your special day, you are welcome to bring your own wedding cake to the restaurant. Simply arrange for its delivery on the day of your event and feel free to include any special instructions you may have.
Beverages
Our beverage packages include an extensive wine list carefully selected to complement our menu. We recommend up to three wine choices: one sparkling, one white, and one red wine. You can choose from our event Wine List when selecting beverages for your occasion.
Venue & Capacity
Old Mill on the River
Immerse yourself in an intimate and exclusive event at our well-preserved Old Mill, nestled atop Europe’s shortest river, Ljuta. With elegant seating and adorned with historic artifacts from the mill’s era, the inside dining area can accommodate 10 to 30 guests.
Canopy on the River
Located alongside the river, our Canopy on the River offers a semi-exclusive covered space, allowing you to enjoy the soothing sounds of the river and surrounding forest. It provides a swanky dining experience for 30 to 40 guests.
Open Forest Garden
Experience the ultimate dining ambiance in Stari Mlini’s garden, nestled among fresh fig and cherry trees. With exclusive use of the venue, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Boka Bay. The garden dining area can accommodate 40 to 90 guests, offering a truly spectacular experience.
Marina Sunset Bar
Indulge in the essence of Montenegro at our Marina Sunset Bar. With open seating and panoramic views of the Bay, complemented by the majestic black mountains of Boka Bay, it’s the perfect spot for morning coffee or refreshments throughout the day.
Venue Booking
Private Section
When booking a private event, customers have the option to reserve a section of the restaurant exclusively for their occasion. This choice is ideal for cost-sensitive guests who don’t mind the presence of regular restaurant patrons in other sections. It is commonly selected for weddings, engagements, birthday parties, or small private events accommodating 10-30 guests.
Exclusive Use
For those prioritizing privacy and exclusivity, customers can opt to book the entire restaurant for an exclusive private event. This choice allows for the inclusion of music, such as a band or DJ. It is frequently chosen for weddings, engagements, birthday parties, or small private events hosting 30-90 guests.
Music
For Full Exclusive bookings, guests have the option to enjoy music played by a band or DJ. Please note that in compliance with City Hall regulations, music is permitted until 12 am. As a courtesy to our regular customers, music is not allowed for Private Section bookings.
Payment
To secure your booking, a deposit is required which will be applied towards your event. The remaining balance must be settled at the time of the event.
Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation within 60 days of the scheduled start day, your deposit will be fully refunded. However, for cancellations made outside this timeframe, a fee will be applied.
