In the 1700s, Stari Mlini was a family-operated flour mill for the locals of the quaint medieval town of Kotor, Montenegro.
300 years later, our family preserved the mill in the form of a fairytale restaurant of remarkable charm. For over 4 decades, Stari Mlini Restaurant has been offering an exclusive yet casual fine dining experience of superb quality.
As its evolution continues, Stari Mlini now welcomes guests arriving by sea with yacht and boat docking in the restaurant marina.

The Setting
Kotor, a UNESCO-protected town, is one of the well-preserved picturesque medieval towns of Montenegro. The Adriatic Sea creates its winding Bay of Kotor, nestled between the majestic black mountains, resulting in a beautiful coastline.
Sitting on a river, Stari Mlini is virtually submerged in an exclusive part of this coastline while enjoying panoramic views of this bay.

How to Reach Us
Stari Mlini is easily accessible by land and water. On rare occasions, arrangements can be made for arrival by air.
By Land
Located just minutes from Kotor Old Town, Stari Mlini is located on the main road when you reach Ljuta. There are clear signs all along the road that lead you straight into our private parking lot.
