1. Agreement to terms
By using the website of Stari Mlini ("we", "us", "the Restaurant") at Ljuta BB, Dobrota, Kotor 85330, Montenegro, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
2. Use of the website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only: to view information about our restaurant and events, make reservations, submit event or special-occasion inquiries, create a guest account, and contact us. You must not use the site to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data, or interfere with the proper operation of the site. We reserve the right to refuse or limit access and to cancel reservations or accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or abusive.
3. Reservations
Online reservations are subject to availability and our booking policies. By making a reservation you provide accurate and complete information and accept that we may contact you by email or phone regarding your booking. A reservation is not confirmed until you receive our confirmation (e.g. by email or as indicated on the site). We may hold your table for a limited time; if confirmation or payment (where required) is not completed in time, we may release the table. For larger groups or special events, different conditions (e.g. deposits, minimums) may apply and will be communicated to you.
4. Event and special-occasion inquiries
Submitting an event or special-occasion inquiry does not create a binding booking. We will respond to discuss availability, venues, and terms. A contract for private events, weddings, or similar occasions is formed only when we agree in writing (e.g. signed proposal or contract) and any required deposit or payment terms are met. Event terms (cancellation, payment schedule, minimums, etc.) will be set out in that contract.
5. Cancellation and no-shows
For standard restaurant reservations: please cancel or modify your reservation in good time if your plans change, using the link in your confirmation or by contacting us. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in us declining future bookings. For events and special occasions, cancellation and refund terms will be specified in your event contract (e.g. deposit refund conditions, notice periods).
6. Deposits and payments
Where we require a deposit or prepayment for certain reservations or events, the amount and payment method will be clearly stated before you commit. Refund rules (e.g. cancellation by a certain date) will be communicated at the time of booking or in your event contract. Unless otherwise agreed, prices are as displayed or quoted and may be in local currency (e.g. EUR). We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.
7. Guest accounts
If you create a guest account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and update it when it changes. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably consider to be misused.
8. Intellectual property and content
The content on our website (text, images, logos, design) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or use it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. You may view and use the site for personal, non-commercial use in line with these terms.
9. Limitation of liability
Our website and services are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including loss of profit, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of the site or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website or a reservation or event shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the relevant booking in the twelve months before the claim, or if no payment was made, a sum equal to the cost of one meal or event service at our then standard rates. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Montenegro. Any dispute arising in connection with them or with your use of our website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montenegro, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
